Connect your iPhone and sync your ringtones.ITunes will automatically add it to your ringtones folder in your iTunes Music Library. I haven't used the script recently, but I do convert M4A to M4B somewhat regularly using a simple hex editor, and I find that you need to remove the M4A files from the library entirely and import them as M4B for both iTunes and iPod to recognize them as audiobooks. Simply just right click it and rename it and change the extension. Further clarification about re-importing. Uncheck the box titled “Hide extensions for known file types”. If you notice that the file does not appear to have an extension Go to the menu organize > Folder and Search Options, then click the View tab. Go back to the folder we just left open and change the extension of the song you just duplicated to.Now leave that window open and go back to itunes, delete the duplicate, and select “keep files”.Right click the duplicate and select “Show in windows explorer.”.Right-click your song again and select “Convert Selection to AAC”.If you want to only use part of the song, Right-click the song and select “Get Info.” Now Click the “Options” tab, and then edit the start time of your ringtone in the text box next to “Start Time” and “End Time” (if desired).Find the song that you want to make into a ringtone.
